Forthcoming Events

Throughout the year we usually host four Coffee Mornings at Blyth Central to raise funds for our own Church.

Cowpen Society of Methodists has been in existence for just over 100 years now. From small beginnings in a Butcher's shop at Bebside we moved to a site on Cowpen Road known locally as the 'Tin Mission'. This building is about to be demolished.

We came to our present premises 52 years ago when Cowpen Estate was being built and about 28 years ago we extended the building by adding a storeroom and small worship area.

We have recently had a lot major repairs and re-furbishment done which incurred a great cost. Fund-raising has been continuous in the past year and we met our targets quite quickly. Further work has been done to meet the requirements of the Disabled Facilities Act.
