Welcome

We are pleased to confirm we have once more opened our doors for worship and are in the process of restarting our many activities.

Blyth  Central Methodist Church is at the heart of the town centre of Blyth. We keep the rhythm of praise and prayer at the core of our Church, offering modern and traditional styles of worship. We are here seven days a week, welcoming each and all. Our congregation live both locally and across a wide area of Northumberland.

We are part of Churches together in Blyth and belong to the South East Northumberland Ecumenical Area (URC and Methodist).

Our Town

Blyth is a growing town with many privately owned homes being built in recent years. This building work is ongoing. A new modern hotel welcomes tourists and a few years ago. The Tall Ships were a magnet for thousands of people. Families enjoy the coastline and Ridley Park where a variety of activities take place.

Old rail links are being resumed. The town's people support many charities including the RNLI branch based here. The brightly coloured beach huts are a logo for this vibrant town.
